- Prepare 6 of wholemeal burger buns.
- Prepare 500 grams of ground beef.
- It's 1 can of lentils.
- Prepare 1 large of celery stick chopped.
- You need 2 of onions chopped.
- It's 1 of chopped capsicum.
- It's of dry oregano.
- Prepare 1 of whatever you have or feel would go well (eggs, raisins, carrots).
- You need 6 slice of any kind of sliced cheese (i use light cheese).
- It's bunch of chopped olives (opt).
Meat Bun-kers step by step
- To start preheat the oven at 250. Cut the top off the buns and empty them out (like in picture), but make sure not to damage the bun, it has to stay firm and strong! And we're keeping the tops!!.
- Just chuck everything but the cheese into a pan until meat is clocked and onions are transparent and your kitchen smells like heaven: ).
- Now get those buns filled up nice and tight! Make sure you press everything in as much as you can without breaking the bread!! You can put some egg whites now to get it all together(opt) top it with the cheese and then the bread tops and SBAM! Straight into the oven. Till bread is crispy and cheese melted.
