Gravy Shepard’s pie instructions
- Peel and boil potatoes to make the mash top.
- Fry mince in small amount of oil and season with pepper and garlic then drain and put back in frying pan or wok add onion pepper etc and fry for 5 mins.
- Add a jug of prepared gravy granules I normally fill the jug and use about 6-8 spoons on gravy and add to mix.
- Simmer for 10 mins then add to dish and top with mash and cheese (optional) and cook on gas 6 for 20 mins to crisp the cheese.
Look at it just dripping off that slice. The recipe is a little long, but do what I did. I don't recall how many I used when I made it, but I believe I just used a large handful of baby carrots).
