- You need 2 liters of milk.
- It's 1 cup of round \ short grain rice.
- It's 1 cup of sugar.
- You need 4 tbsp of orange blossom water.
Milk Rice pudding step by step
- Take about half a cup milk from the above mentioned quentity heat it (without boiling) and soak rice in.
- In a deep sauce pan, pour the rest of the milk, when it is hot, add the soaked rice and the milk.
- Stir occasionally.
- When milk boils, reduce heat to the lowest,and keep them cooking ; stir frequently.
- When rice grains are well cooked and mixture is think, add sugar and orange blossom water.
- Stir occasionally, leave on heat for 15 minutes.
- Pour in to small serving bowls, keep aside to cool.
- Place them in the refrigerator untill serving time.
- Garnish as desired.
